Our Biblical approach to ministry requires a focus on 2 scriptures that
serve as foundations to all church purposes:
The Great Commandment
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart… soul… and mind. This is
the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your
neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:36-39
The Great Commission
“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey
everything I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20
Rockview Church Exists to:
• Exalt – To join God in His work and worship Him.
• Evangelize – To reach the unsaved through relationship evangelism.
• Edify – To make genuine disciples of believers.
• Equip – To train believers to use their spiritual gifts in ministry.
